Created for the East German toy company Vero in 1975, these colorful booklets itemize all of the pieces included in the “Construc” construction kit.
So, came across these beautiful things at FFFFOUND, and then was re-directed to grain edit, which is an inspirational blog. How tasty. Vintage toy booklets. Is there anything more beautiful in the world? Especially German toys. You can't beat the Germans. Every kid just wants to play with screw-drivers and nuts and bolts, and geek out. Reminds me of those Mechano products when I was a kid— much too complicated for me, I just wanted to break stuff, rather than make stuff. That, or finger-paint. Apparently, The back cover reads, “Toys With System for the Creators of Tomorrow’s World.” Loving the graphics, and the colours. Anything with those front on orthogonal type drawings, I'm a fan of. Check out toxi's flickr account for more photographs of the booklet.
